Frequently Asked Questions

Is SummitView different from a normal review meeting?
SummitView is a more comprehensive meeting than your normal review meeting. If you typically only meet with us once per year, you will continue to meet only once per year, and that meeting will be a SummitView meeting. You'll find that the meeting is more comprehensive and involves meeting with multiple people rather than just your advisor. If you typically have multiple meetings throughout the year, your other meetings will be focused on specific action items needed to maintain your plan throughout the year.

How much time should I allow for the SummitView meeting?
A SummitView meeting will be about the same length as a normal review meeting. We will cover more topics, however, using a very specific agenda of points to accomplish. You should allow an hour to an hour and a half for this meeting.

How should I prepare for this meeting?
Just as we do now, we will provide you with a list of items to bring with you or to send to us in advance so that our time together is most productive. This includes a questionnaire regarding any changes in your financial situation, your preferences regarding various offerings, and specific paperwork such as tax returns and statements for outside accounts.

Why should I come to the Wexford/Greater Pittsburgh office?
SummitView is best provided in our Greater Pittsburgh office location on Nicholson Road because this allows the opportunity to meet face-to-face with all members of our team and have access to all of the resources needed to meet your needs.

Can I request a SummitView meeting?
All fee-based clients will receive a SummitView meeting once per year. We will assign you a specific quarter in the year for your SummitView meeting. As always, we will work with you to select a time that works best. In the meantime, you are always welcome to contact us with questions or concerns that might arise outside of your SummitView meeting.
